Mr. Cronin focuses primarily in commodity markets. He enters positions in corn, wheat, soybeans, soybean oil, soybean meal, cotton, coffee, crude oil, live cattle, and sugar. In addition to the various exchange approved commodity contracts that he’ll enter he will also trade global currencies, bonds, and equity indices. The Program seeks to allocate capital to a portfolio of low correlated asset classes that offer the potential for the highest expected risk-adjusted rate of return. Mr. Cronin engages in diligent market analysis with his quantitative approach. He aims to take advantage of what he perceives as substantial changes in volatility which then warrant investment opportunities. The Program employs proprietary analysis algorithms of the global futures markets which lead the decision process in trade selection, asset allocation, and risk and money management strategies for each investment position.

Risk management is one of the most important features of Mr. Cronin’s Ardmore Systems Trading, LLC. Investment opportunities and current positions are being monitored and analyzed on a constant basis. Mr. Cronin notes that as market conditions change, so too do the metrics that indicated trading opportunities. The Advisor will make adjustments that alter positions to coincide more properly with risk levels, volatility, and portfolio correlation.
